Fleeting World Update v3! Deserts, floods, Advances, and other Gaia's Moods!

<p>Fleeting World v3 - Gaia's Moods is here!</p>

<p>In this update we explore the fickle moods of the world itself, with deserts, floods, and other phenomena, as well as new Advances to aid you in surviving.</p>
<p>The changes include:</p>

</ul>

<h2>Desert - a new biome</h2>
<p>Deserts are a new biome, and its tiles are coloured yellow. They spawn on tiles that are far enough from any source of water, namely the ocean and the mountains (which collect the water in the atmosphere).</p>
<p>The only natural feature spawning in the desert is an Oasis.</p>

<h3>Oasis - a new natural feature</h3>
<p>Oasis is a new natural feature spawning in the desert. Initially, you can build only Lumber Mills and Shrines on it, but with a new Advance - Well Digging - you can also start building Herbalists and Temples.</p>

<h2>Floods - a new seasonal effect</h2>
<p>Floods are a new effect that happens every Spring. The water level rises and floods the coastal areas, creating new water tiles and removing land/grass tiles. Accordingly, more Sungleams and less Forests will spawn, while the water level are high. Each Summer, the waters drop back to their initial level.</p>
<p>Floods can be somewhat mitigated by the new Advance named Dams. Dams allow blocking some of the water, which means it will not rise as high.</p>

<h2>Rain and snow - new visuals</h2>
<p>Rain and snow are new environmental visual effects. As of now, they have no impact on the gameplay, but may in the future.</p>

<h2>Seasons panel - new UI</h2>
<p>In the lower right corner of the screen you can now see the Seasons panel, which tells you the current and the next Season, as well their respective effects.</p>

<h2>Future plans</h2>
<p>The next update is going to concentrate on polishing some of the presentational aspects of the game. More sounds, different visual feedback, recource tracking, that kind of quality-of-life-improvements.</p>
